It is said that a photograph says a thousand words. I am renewing my resolve to take one photo per day for an approximate total of 365,000 unspoken words.

Sunday, 3/14/2010: Spring Forward

This man couldn't keep his eyes open while reading at Barnes & Noble today.  I could totally feel his pain...this spring forward stuff is tough!

Fri. 3/12/10: I Love Trader Joe's

"Who you calling JERKY?!"

Trader Joe's is one of my favorite places to buy food.  I really, really looooove it.  'Nuff said.

(I was told that I was "not allowed" to take pictures of the store.  I offered to delete this one, but the manager said it was okay.)

Thursday, 3/11/10: A Spicy Day

Accent: "Wakes up food flavor" AND Memories

When I saw this red "ACCENT" container at the grocery store today, it hit me like a ton of bricks. Memories of my maternal grandfather flooded back to me. If I remember correctly, his meatball recipe called for Accent. Had I not seen it, I most likely would not ever have thought of it again. It's funny how something so small can bring back a memory so big. So, one container of it now resides in my spice cabinet.

What a lovely reminder of Grandpop.

Further Evidence...

The Bed Hog Dog prevails! (See 2/26 post.) That's a body pillow with her, by the way.

Tuesday the 9th of March: THAI!!

Mirrors from Kuhn Thai: Millburn, NJ

Had Thai tonight. I always order the same thing because I know I will like it, but that's obviously a sign I'm afraid to experiment. I really want to get more into it, and will have to be a bit more adventurous next time....but "my usual" is just SO GOOD! Love the ambiance of this place, too. It's really soothing. Just a great meal.

Monday, 3/8/10: Sunshine stroll

Cute house in Haddonfield

I took advantage of the nice weather we're having today and took walk around Haddonfield. There are many, many well-maintained, impressive Victorians in that town. I just thought this one was cute and well-presented. So, I snapped it!
