Near my complex, there are both a lake and a creek very nearby.  The geese have a grand old time parading back and forth.  These 4 had me waiting for a delightful minute or two today as they crossed the road to get to the lake.  So fun!

Saturday, March 20, 2010: Down and Dirty

Planting flowers on the first day of Spring!

Today's been an eventful day!  I met Nicole to get my wig for the Sound of Music.  Then we ate lunch at Nifty Fifty's, and I bought flowers.  After I came home and took ella for a walk in the field, I planted all the flowers, and even moved my hydrangea plant (which was NOT easy!).  It felt so good to get down and dirty planting flowers on the FIRST DAY OF SPRING!

I've been listening to the Beatles Biography by Bob Spitz for the past 2 weeks while traveling in my car, and I think I've been influenced in their "far out" ways.  I had the opportunity to play with Play Doh today, and this was my creation.  Strawberry Fields Forever, man.

Thursday, 3/18/10: ella's surgery

We have been blessed with some incredible weather these past few days.  While I know this photo is distorted due to the sunshine I LOVE that there was so much sunshine today to distort my photo!!!  ella had her teeth cleaned and a lump (sebaceous cyst...phew!) removed today.  She's my little trooper.  She came through it with flying colors, and we've spent this evening having a "girls night in" hanging out together.  I heart her.

When it's warm enough to eat ice cream outside on St. Patrick's Day, you definitely have the "luck of the Irish" on your side.  It was gorgeous today.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010: Spring's Nearly Here!

 Signs of SPRING have SPRUNG!

The sun found New Jersey today.  It'd been drab and rainy for days, and finally the sun shone today.  I found some early signs of spring!  It's so near...only FOUR days away!  The days are already longer, thanks to the extra hour of light.
