Today marked the first run-through for Sound of Music!  It went well.  I am building up my confidence, and feel MUCH better after today's run.  Can't wait for the show!

Got a little rest and relaxation today at the Joseph Ambler Inn in North Wales, Pennsylania.  I love this place.  It gives the impression that you're completely secluded and miles away from everything (even though you're not!).   It's very peaceful, comfortable, luxurious, and reasonably priced to boot!

Friday, March 26, 2010: Blossoming

My newly-planted flowers are THRIVING.  I'm thrilled they've been able to withstand the nights, as it has been cold out there.  They're blossoming.  

Speaking of blossoming...

I've been getting to spend quite a bit of time with Nicole and Sean from Sound of Music, and I really like the budding relationship we have with each other.  Tonight, Nic, Sean, Hondo & I went to Texas Roadhouse for an awesome dinner and Casey met up with us to see Alice in Wonderland.  The movie was okay.  It was entertaining.  The company was WONDERFUL.  We had a lovely night together, and I look forward to doing it again soon.

Thursday, March 25, 2010: Dad's Day of Birth

My dad turned 58 today.  He's the best.  Since my mom is away in Florida hanging with Mickey and Minnie this week, Dad and I celebrated.  I took a hunk of cake home to "help out."  I'm good like that.  :)

Totally off the subject of Dad's birthday...I booked my first ever cruise today!  Can't wait to go to Bermuda in June!!

Wednesday, 3/24/10: Mission Recuperation

Well, ella's incision site is clearly healing, because it's starting to itch her.  She's been a-scratchin!  I found some blood on my bedding tonight while she was lounging on the bed.  (Yes, she's spoiled and allowed to sleep in my bed...even when I'm not in it.)  So, I threw a tank top on her to protect it from her claws.  She's looks awful cute in it!  It suits her!!  Stitches come out on Monday at 10 AM.
