It is said that a photograph says a thousand words. I am renewing my resolve to take one photo per day for an approximate total of 365,000 unspoken words.
Dawn and Brian Buglio had us over for a BBQ today. It was so much fun! They had a huge water slide, and tons of people....and loads of food! We had a great time. Falcor got so big since we last saw him!!
I have decided that when I break a nail, I should be happy. It means that good things are coming my way. I broke my nail today on a visit to four young friends that I haven't seen for a little while, and I had a GREAT visit with them! I got big hugs and kisses. It was awesome. Then, I went to the library to do some good work for my class. Then I had an awesome time at Jackie's fondue party. It was a great way to start the weekend...and it all started with my broken nail.
Tonight, Mom and Aunt Karen and I went to my alma mater, West Chester University, to see a leg of the Drum and Bugle Corps competition. It was cool to see them....my favorite was Carolina Crown. They were awesome!!
This is my parents' dog, Kellsey. She's an apricot, toy French Poodle. And yes, she is snobby. She's happiest around food--of people variety, primarily.
My aunt and I went to Cowtown today and then went to the Salem County Fairgrounds afterwards. We saw cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, goats, rabbits, and horses. I stopped at the farm market on the way home. It was fun to step into that world....and it's crazy that it's all here in New Jersey! So far away from what I know, but so close in distance!
It was a good long run at my apartment. I said the official "goodbye" to it today, and handed in my keys at 9:30 this morning. I am so happy that I was so happy there for such a long time. It was the place in which I spent the first years of my independent adult life. Looking back, I am proud to have established it as my first home, and to have raised my ella from a puppy there. I'm thrilled that the move-out process is over and I am ready for whatever the next phase of this journey has in store for me.
